- Apr 47:30 PMEquine Vet Medicine Guest Speaker: Dr. Trotter"A native of New Jersey, Dr Trotter knew from a very young age that she wanted to be a “horse doctor.”After obtaining her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, Dr. Trotter went on to study veterinary medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California. During this time, she focused on equine medicine and rotated through the top equine clinics throughout the country and was chosen to be a student representative at the 2010 World Equestrian Games. After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Trotter went on to be an associate at a thoroughbred race track practice where she was able to sharpen her lameness skills and in 2013 founded Trotter Equine. Over the last 10 years, Dr Trotter has attended Chi University to become certified in spinal manipulation (Chiropractic), physical therapy & rehabilitation, and acupuncture, Dr. Trotter’s primary interest is preventative sports medicine which includes performance exams, biological joint therapies, acupuncture, physical therapy, and spinal manipulation (chiropractic).
