  • Description
IEEE Will be hosting an AI Workshop going through modern Deep Learning Techniques, namely Self-Supervised Learning. You may be curious as to why Turing Award Winner Yann Lecun calls this area of Deep Learning The Dark Matter of Intelligence. As opposed to normal Supervised Learning, we are not going to be learning how to predict labels of Cats and Dogs. Instead, we are referring to utilizing large amounts of unstructured data such as images, videos, or text which was produced by the world to learn the data itself as opposed to labels that us humans may provide. In this workshop we will be going over the techniques that have brought modern AI revolutions such as ChatGPT, Tesla's Full Self Driving, or even Boston Dynamics' robots for doing complex and seemingly "intelligent" things. . . . . In this workshop, we will be fine tuning an existing model trained on these supervised learning techniques to learn how to drive a car (kind-of).
