Lauren Austin is a Florida-based storytelling artist who has worked for over 30 years in the medium of quilts. Austin’s work merges her own life story with that of Black history and cultural memory. These volunteer opportunities include assisting Mary Mac with setting up The Well's mobile Kinship Free Markets, assisting with food distribution, and packing/cleaning up once the market ends.. . Join WellBuilt City and us in distributing food to those who need it at Mort Park every Wednesday starting at 1 PM!. .
