- DescriptionCome volunteer with us at the University of South Florida Office of Youth Experiences this summer and help out with our camps for kids in grades 3 to 12! You'll work alongside our dedicated staff, organizing activities, mentoring kids, and making sure everyone feels welcome and safe. Whether you're into science, art, outdoor fun, or just hanging out with cool kids, we've got a spot for you. You'll gain valuable experience, make new friends, and have a blast while helping kids learn and grow.

Lauren Austin is a Florida-based storytelling artist who has worked for over 30 years in the medium of quilts. Austin’s work merges her own life story with that of Black history and cultural memory. Her quilts are large-scale mixed media pieces, incorporating photographic processes, stone lithograph, beading, hand-stitching, and hand-dyed fabrics.. . . . There is an open house reception on 2/12 from 2:00-3:30pm in CMC 202. Additionally, there will be two free companion events – a fabric artbook workshop on February 21 and a public lecture on February 22. Join WellBuilt City and us in distributing food to those who need it at Mort Park every Wednesday starting at 1 PM!. .
