TITLE: Proofs from The Book: Bertrand’s PostulateABSTRACT: In this talk, I will be introducing Aigner and Ziegler’s Proofs from The Book, a collection of some of the more interesting, elementary, and most of all aesthetically pleasing proofs of various mathematical facts. In particular, I will present Paul Erdős’s proof of Bertrand’s Postulate as an introductory and accessible example.
