Volunteer at the USF Botanical Gardens Spring Plant Festival on April 12th and 13th, 2025! This beloved event celebrates nature and greenery, and your help is needed to make it a success. Volunteer roles include assisting with front and back membership, ticketing, attendance, plant shop, security, children’s activities, and event set-up/breakdown. Shifts are available on both Saturday and Sunday, with a set-up shift on Friday, April 11th. The event runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm each day. Interested in being outdoors and getting your hands a bit dirty in the process? Then heres a event for you! VISTA Gardens is a 3.31 acre Hillsborough Country Garden Park that looks to preserve the native foliage and butterfly population.. . . . At this garden, volunteers would be helping out with tasks that needs to be done (planting, some weeding, composting, etc). Please be sure to bring some sunscreen and sun protection (caps/hats) in addition to water and snacks. Also be sure to wear closed toed shoes that you do not mind getting a bit dirty.. . . . USF Health Policy and Advocacy Coalition and Feed-a-Bull are excited to announce a free food distribution on campus for students!. . We are collaborating with a local nonprofit to distribute free food, taking place on campus Sunday 4/13 from 10 AM to 12 PM. The event is intended to aid USF students and members of the Hillsborough County community in need of food assistance. . . The event will occur at “ 12303 USF MAPLE DRIVE” in USF Parking Lot 21 between the USF recreation center and CW Bill Young Hall. Bags include multiple non-perishable items that can help students with food for multiple days. Bags are limited to 1 per person; if you are receiving for a family, we will give 1 bag per every 2 members. A liability form must be signed for food to be received. . .
