Get ready to go from theory to practice as you gain insights about local businesses, meet other USF students and industry professionals, and maybe even uncover a hidden passion!We will be visiting the Maritime Defense and Technology Hub adjacent to campus near the Port of St Pete! It takes advantage of the increased need for maritime and national security technology solutions across the State of Florida and the Federal government. The Innovation District, a nonprofit organization, manages the Hub. Over 20 organizations are sub-tenants. The sub-tenants are curated based on their alignment to the City and County target industries with particular attention on marine science, defense, and technology sectors.
