This volunteer opportunity includes assisting in assembling and distributing meals to our residents and staff, as well as keeping the food distribution area clean and sanitized. In addition, some volunteers may support our residential life staff members. Minimum Age: The minimum age to volunteer for this shift is 12 with an adult or 14+ without an adult. Dress Code: Please be sure to wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES, long pants, and a shirt with sleeves (jeans and short sleeve t-shirts are great; no tank tops). Check-In: Because the Volunteer Center will be closed, you will check-in at our Miracle Place UPLIFT HALL building, located at 2106 N. Florida Avenue to check-in and get placed. Please report to the DOUBLE GLASS DOORS at the entrance of the building facing N. Florida Ave. Once you are buzzed in, report to the front desk to check-in. Parking: You can park in our large parking lot at 120 E Ross Ave Tampa, FL 33602, or across the street at 2001 N. Florida Ave. Personal Items: It is best to leave purses and electronics at home or out of sight in your trunk or another secure location while volunteering.
