- Dec 14–18Skiing in North CarolinaHit the slopes and embrace the winter magic on this unforgettable ski trip to Banner Elk, North Carolina! We’ll spend our days skiing and snowboarding at two of the Southeast’s top resorts—Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain—offering trails for all skill levels, from beginner to black diamond. After the lifts close, we’ll warm up and unwind in a cozy mountain cabin, complete with great views and good company. Whether you're carving down the mountain or sipping hot cocoa by the fire, this trip is the perfect way to spend Winter Break in the snow-covered Blue Ridge Mountains. --- Event Details: https://bullsconnect.usf.edu/rsvp?id=1986146
- Dec 1410:00 AMWrestling Practice (Technique Focused)Our technique-focused practice is dedicated to building strong foundational wrestling skills through detailed instruction and controlled drilling. Rather than emphasizing live wrestling or conditioning, these sessions break down specific moves step by step covering stance, positioning, set-ups, takedowns, escapes, and transitions. The goal is to slow things down so athletes can develop proper form, body mechanics, and muscle memory. Wrestlers receive individual feedback, repeat techniques for mastery, and gradually increase speed and intensity as they become more confident. This practice creates a low-pressure environment for learning, asking questions, and sharpening fundamentals that translate directly into better performance during live matches. --- Event Details: https://bullsconnect.usf.edu/rsvp?id=1989725

- Dec 1510:00 AMBrian Maguire: La Grande IllusionLa Grande Illusion is a major exhibition of works by internationally acclaimed artist, Brian Maguire. The exhibition spans two decades of work that spotlights the artist’s lifelong quest to draw attention to global injustices, war, and human rights. One of Ireland's leading cultural figures, Maguire has turned the practice and tradition of painting into acts of visual testimony. Maguire’s paintings are global in scope and are derived from projects undertaken between 2007 and 2024 in Mexico, the Mediterranean, Syria, Sudan, the United States, and the Amazon. Maguire's artworks are painted from direct experience and involve the artist spending extensive time on the ground with the communities that welcome him. The results are, plainly put, paintings that visualize the commonality of human suffering and dramatize the plight of people in need. --- Event Details: https://bullsconnect.usf.edu/rsvp?id=1984287
