Join us for a road trip to the Withlacoochee State Trail which also connects to the Good Neighbor Trail! We will be starting at the trailhead and then getting onto the good neighbor trail, then heading back! We will be riding out from the trailhead at 8:45 am. VISTA Gardens is a 3.31 acre Hillsborough Country Garden Park that looks to preserve the native foliage and butterfly population.. . . . At this garden, volunteers would be helping out with tasks that needs to be done (planting, some weeding, composting, etc). Please be sure to bring some sunscreen and sun protection (caps/hats) in addition to water and snacks. Also be sure to wear closed toed shoes that you do not mind getting a bit dirty.. . . . Brunch on the Bay is the annual major fundraising event for USF Sarasota-Manatee, providing scholarships for students (including your LLC Scholarship). Over 30 local restaurants will serve small plates of delicious treats for guests to enjoy ahead of the big program and paddle raise fundraiser. . . Brunch Volunteers will welcome guests, talk about their USF experience, help provide directions to guests, and support the event, and get to enjoy the many delicious food options. There is a special reception for special donors where LLC students can interact with donors and guests to talk about USF. Join Arts4All Florida in our tent at the 54th Annual Gasparilla Festival of the Arts at the Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park in downtown Tampa. Work with our staff to introduce festival goers to artwork created by artists with disabilities from across the state. If you are interested in nonprofit work or the arts, this is a great opportunity to learn about working in community festivals.
