The Nelson Poynter Memorial Library at USF St. Petersburg, in partnership with San Jose State University, will present a gallery exhibition tour, documentary screening, activities, and discussion centered on youth experiences during the war in Ukraine.. . . . Professor Ulia Gosart and her colleague, Sara Clair, both of San Jose State University’s School of Information, will discuss the exhibition of a selection of Ukrainian children's artwork from the art therapy initiative - “Children Draw War, Not Flowers” - now on view in the Poynter Library Gallery through March 21, 2025. . . . . The exhibit tour will be followed by a screening of A Woman at War, a short documentary by Ukrainian filmmaker, Volodymyr Sydko, along with discussion, activities, and a viewing of the project’s expanded exhibition in a VR environment.
