- DescriptionJoin the BCI Club @ USF for an exciting three-part workshop exploring the cutting-edge world of Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) technology! Hosted by Connor Raymer, these immersive sessions will introduce you to the Emotiv's BCI headsets and the software tools needed to harness the power of your mind. We will also demonstrate the versatility of Node-Red, a Scratch like simulating environment.. . . . In Part 1, we’ll dive into the basics of BCI technology, learn how to use Emotiv headsets, and explore the training required to execute different commands. We’ll also introduce the software platforms we’ll be using: EmotivBCI and Node-RED.. . . . In Part 2, we will learn about the basics of an ESP32 microcontroller and guiding you through the software integration to Node-Red enabling us to route signals to an external hardware device.. . . . In Part 3, get ready for a hands-on project where you’ll integrate EmotivBCI and Node-RED to an ESP32 creating a functional BCI application. This interactive session will give you the chance to apply what you’ve learned and see your ideas come to life!. . . .
