- DescriptionCome volunteer with PAMSA and Minority Exposure to STEM (METS) for STEM Night at Bing Elementary! METS is a student-founded nonprofit advocating for increased STEM education and literacy for underrepresented and underprivileged youth.. . . . METS partners with elementary schools across the Tampa Bay area to give students the opportunity to dive deeper into science and technology through STEM Nights. . . . . STEM Nights provide a space where students can ask bold questions, form new ideas, and explore the possibilities that lie beyond the classroom’s textbooks. . . . . Each science fair booth at a STEM night aligns with a STEM career and corresponds with one or more Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS), the core curriculum set for Florida public schools by the Florida Department of Education. . .
