- DescriptionCare for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in our community through services that alleviate suffering, promote dignity, and instill self-sufficiency. As a Mid-Day Volunteer, you will support our mission by assisting in one of the following areas: Outreach: Help families choose food and clothes for their families. Clothing Warehouse/Thrift Store: Accept donations and sort and choose donated items for our thrift store and outreach department. Kitchen: Clean the kitchen, prep, cook, and serve food to our residents and community partners.. . . . Register here: https://vhub.at/1VLH83C. . . . Dress Code: Long pants (ex. Jeans or sport pants), Closed-toe shoes (ex. Sneakers/tennis shoes), and a T-shirt. . . . Parking: There is a large lot directly in front of our office at 120 E Ross Ave. We also have an overflow lot located across N. Florida Ave here: 2001 N. Florida Ave.. . . . Check-In Location: Please check in at our Volunteer Engagement Center. ( 120 E. Ross Ave. Tampa 33602.) Our coordinators will assist your group from there.
