Join us for an offshore trip aboard the Miss Virginia out of Tarpon Springs! On this 8hr trip all gear is included but feel free to bring your own. The trip is being funded by the fishing club, but a cumulative tip for the crew would be appreciated. About $15 dollars a person should be plenty! Volunteer at the USF Botanical Gardens Spring Plant Festival on April 12th and 13th, 2025! This beloved event celebrates nature and greenery, and your help is needed to make it a success. Volunteer roles include assisting with front and back membership, ticketing, attendance, plant shop, security, children’s activities, and event set-up/breakdown. Shifts are available on both Saturday and Sunday, with a set-up shift on Friday, April 11th. The event runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm each day. Interested in being outdoors and getting your hands a bit dirty in the process? Then heres a event for you! VISTA Gardens is a 3.31 acre Hillsborough Country Garden Park that looks to preserve the native foliage and butterfly population.. . . . At this garden, volunteers would be helping out with tasks that needs to be done (planting, some weeding, composting, etc). Please be sure to bring some sunscreen and sun protection (caps/hats) in addition to water and snacks. Also be sure to wear closed toed shoes that you do not mind getting a bit dirty.. . . .
