- DescriptionWelcome to our engaging and insightful Professional Development Series, hosted by 2nd year Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) students. Delve into a dynamic exploration of real-world experiences and practical insights as our accomplished MHA students share diverse topics on professional development. Through a series of captivating presentations, discover invaluable strategies, success stories, and challenges faced in the realm of healthcare administration. Join us to gain unique perspectives and enrich your own journey towards a thriving and rewarding healthcare management career.
Internships are valuable opportunities to gain practical experience in health systems. Settings range from hospitals to community clinics and private practices, and cover a multitude of fields from finance to service lines and human resources. While only one internship experience is required to graduate from the MHA program, many students find it beneficial to complete multiple! Alongside shadowing and other professional development opportunities, internships allow students to apply the skills we learn in the classroom to real-world scenarios.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear from several second-year MHA students about their internship experiences. They will share challenges faced, lessons learned, and advice to prepare well for this next step in your personal and professional journeys!
