The University of South Florida continued its remarkable trajectory in 2023 with accomplishments that have cemented USF among America's leading universities. USF celebrates this momentous year and the limitless future ahead.

The University of South Florida awarded more than 4,400 degrees during fall commencement on Friday, Dec. 8, and Saturday, Dec. 9. The ceremonies include recipients of 3,303 bachelor’s, 982 master’s, 140 doctoral and three specialist degrees.

The December 9th ceremony at 6:30 p.m. features Master's, educational specialist and doctoral degree recipients from all colleges: Arts and Sciences, Behavioral and Community Sciences, Muma College of Business, Education, Engineering, Patel College of Global Sustainability, Graduate Studies, Marine Science, Morsani College of Medicine, Nursing, Taneja College of Pharmacy, Public Health and The Arts.

The December 9th ceremony at 1:30 p.m. features Bachelor's degree recipients from the College of Arts and Sciences in the following Schools and Departments: Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communications; Anthropology; Molecular Biosciences; Integrative Biology; Chemistry; Economics; School of Geosciences; School of Information; Journalism and Digital Communication; Mathematics and Statistics; Physics; Psychology; and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.

The December 9th ceremony at 9 a.m. features Bachelor's degree recipients from the colleges of the Muma College of Business, Engineering, Education, The Arts, and the Office of Undergraduate Studies.

The December 8th ceremony at 6:30 p.m. features Bachelor's degree recipients from the colleges of Behavioral and Community Sciences, Nursing, Public Health and the following Schools and Departments from the College of Arts and Sciences: Communication; English; History; Humanities and Cultural Studies; Philosophy; Religious Studies; School of Interdisciplinary Global Studies; Sociology and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences; and World Languages.

USF streams more athletics games on ESPN+, the digital division of ESPN, than majority of universities in the American Athletic Conference. Student interns work tirelessly behind the scenes bringing more than 180 sporting events to streaming devices – enhancing USF’s exposure across the world.

The University of South Florida Homecoming is a week-long celebration of USF pride and Bull spirit. USF Homecoming is the most popular annual celebration of USF students, alumni and the campus community. The university comes alive during a week of exciting events and the festivities culminate with the annual Homecoming Football Game at Raymond James Stadium.
